The WeDo story so far
WeDo Invoice Finance established
Directors Mark Lindsay and Chris Robinson established WeDo Finance in Oldham, with a combined 40 years of experience in the industry. They shared the view that finance didn’t need to be all grey suits and briefcases, setting out to create the friendly face of finance.
First lockdown and new business set up
WeDo HR Support and WeDo Trade Finance were set up during the first lockdown, in response to client concerns about furlough and business sustainability. We brought on-board Directors who had been in each respective industry for decades to head up these companies.
Expansion of services
In our partnerships with businesses, we realised there was still more we could do to support their growth. Due to popular demand, WeDo Accountancy Services and WeDo IT Services were launched. We found that clients loved being able to get everything they needed from one place.
We also won an award for our values-driven approach to finance, and opened offices in Australia!
We’re growing…
Our team has grown to over 75 people, and we’ve got big plans. The WeDo Business Services group now helps a range of businesses across the UK with investment and start-up funding, invoice finance, trade finance, asset finance, loans, HR, accountancy, IT, and back office support.
It’s set to be a huge year…
It’s set to be a huge year for WeDo and for our clients. We’ve secured significant investment, massively expanding our ability to support SMEs across the UK. And we’ve unveiled a new brand identity with all-new websites, to reflect our evolution into a national business services group.
